Somatic (meaning of the soma, the body) and interventions (meaning ways to use the wisdom of the soma, the body, to intervene with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma)
The movement, eco-acoustic, and meditative practices I offer all have trauma informed foundations. Trauma is often a word held for large, significant, and acute circumstances and recovering from, and living with, trauma can severely impact day to day activities. Trauma can also be an accumulation of small experiences over time and may not be as easily recognized and can equally affect a person's mobility in the world.
The practices I offer are my own that I use as resources and tools in my day-to-day. The benefits of calming my nervous system, gently opening up areas of physical, and emotional injury, holding space for healing, and rest are offerings I want to share with others.
Each of these offerings can be facilitated as a one-to-one session, group format, or extended workshop structure.
